She told me I wasn't good enough.
My car barely runs. My boss doesn't care. The people I thought were friends left me stranded — literally and figuratively.
I sat down one day feeling like a nobody. Like everything I was building was pointless. Like the universe was testing me just to watch me fail.
But here's what they didn't count on: I didn't stop.
While they were doubting me, I was taking 22 pages of notes in class. Studying digital ethics, psychology, copyright law, sports science, and business strategy — not because someone told me to, but because I refused to stay small.
While they were sleeping, I was building. Blog posts. Digital products. Automations. A whole boutique empire — brick by brick, late night by late night.
I learned something from sports science that changed everything: championships aren't won on game day. They're won in the quiet moments nobody sees.
The practices. The film study. The strategy sessions at 2 AM.
That's where I was. That's where I still am.
And on October 12th — my birthday — LA'BREA'S BOUTIQUE reopens. Not as a comeback. As an arrival.
Because I was never gone. I was just getting ready.
Are you building something too? Are you the coach who's been doing the work while everyone else doubted you?
